Cameroonians Reminded to Walk in and Register on Elecam Voter Register
ANNOUNCEMNET: (The Hague, August 20, 2024)
The Embassy of Cameroon in the Hague hereby reminds Cameroonians that, following the working visit to The Hague by a Delegation from Elections Cameroon, and a Decision of the Director General of Elections Cameroon putting in place the Voter Registration Commission for AMBACAM LA HAYE A polling station; registration, transfer and modification procedures have been on going at the Embassy of Cameroon since the 6 May 2024.
Eligible Cameroonians resident within the jurisdiction of the polling station (the Netherlands and Luxembourg) are reminded that they can walk in and register at the Embassy during working hours.
According to the Electoral law, this process will be suspended on the 31 August 2024, and will resume on the 2 January 2025.
REQUIREMENTS TO REGISTER TO VOTE
As a further reminder, to register on the electoral list, Cameroonians should be in possession of:
– A valid passport
– Resident card
– Embassy consular card/Embassy Registration Card
Note: If you do not have a consular card yet, those in possession of passports and resident cards, should contact the Embassy with regards to issuance of consular cards to enable them register. It also should be noted that consular cards can be issued on site (that is, on the same day you visit the embassy), while the registration procedure on the electoral list takes place.
